E-Melt System
Digital Utilities introduced the Electric Melting System in 2009, revolutionizing sulphur melting in sugar mills. With over 80 installations across India in the past decade, the system addresses significant energy losses caused by transporting high-pressure steam over long distances. Instead of relying on steam from turbines or boiler PRDS systems—which results in radiation and condensation losses—Digital Utilities developed specially designed Electrical Steam Vapourisers. These vapourisers enhance energy efficiency and ensure reliable operation, particularly during factory start-ups when steam supply is unstable, allowing uninterrupted performance of the Film Type Sulphur Burner.

Features
Automatic water level control: Integrated pump control and low water cutoff ensure safe operation by maintaining proper water levels and shutting off the vapouriser if levels drop.
Visual level monitoring: A water level sight glass provides continuous visual monitoring of the vapouriser’s internal water level during operation.
Robust electrical controls: Equipped with MCCBs/MCBs, contactors, and SSRs, all housed in a durable control cabinet with hinged doors for easy access.
Operation status indicator: A pilot light shows when the vapouriser control circuit is energized and the unit is in operation.
