Electric Vessel for Super Heated Wash Water System

The superheated water heating system offers an energy-efficient alternative to traditional steam-based heating in the centrifugal section. Designed for once-through operation, it uses electrically heated water at 118°C under 2 kg/cm² pressure, minimizing heat loss over long distances and optimizing thermal performance. With precise control and intelligent heater banks, this system ensures consistent hot water supply while reducing steam wastage and operational inefficiencies.

Features

Superheated water at 118°C ensures effective heating in the centrifugal section

Once-through operation with a requirement of only 1.5–2% on cane

  • Eliminates steam transmission losses over long distances from PRDS or turbine extraction lines

Efficient electrical heating: Requires approx. 160 kW to heat water from 100°C to 118°C at 1 TPH

Integrated pressure tank system designed to maintain consistent water flow and temperature

Precise temperature control through multiple electric heating elements.

  • Automated load management: Heaters switch off in banks when flow reduces to save power

  • Reliable and safe operation with consistent pressure range around 2 kg/cm² g
